» GLAD HAND PORTABLE LOCK

The Glad Hand lock is a portable security device that seals of the air intake (glad hand) valves on a trailer or chassis airbrake line system. It is designed to cut off access to the air brake line thereby securing the trailer in place. It prevents a tractor to hook up to the trailer without first opening this locking device.It is opened with a special key. Keys can be different for each lock or all the same and the locks can be master keyed.

The device is made of aluminum, stainless steel and brass and it is rugged and designed for outside use. It fits all conventional glad hand trailer fittings in the USA, Mexico, South America and Canada.

Applying the lock is quick and simple. Once secured in place adding air to the trailers brake likes is impossible. By reducing the risk of releasing the air brakes you are avoiding unauthorized movement without the need to use cumbersome King Pin Locks, locking chocks, chains, dock locks or other devices that are rarely used consistently or expensive.

With the Glad Hand Lock, there is no need to be under the trailer and no mess as is typically associated with a kingpin lock.
