SELF-WOUND VOID FEATURE TAPE

SECURE TRAC carton sealing tape is a product of CGM-AST represented by Rigsecure, now transacting as Rigsecure Corporation, a Florida Corporation. The tape is typically a polyester self adhesive and self voiding and it is ideal for sealing boxes, pails, barrels, drums and over stretch wrap and shrink film for pallets. It’s use allows users to visually recognize a breach in the seal regardless of the fact that they know the seal number or not. This product is termed as an indicative seal as outlined in ISO 17712 recognizing this form of seal as useful as a deterrent rather than a barrier however further stated, “SECURE TRAC tamper evident tape provides a significant form of protection against an adversary ill equipped to manipulate or circumvent the seal”. This product is used as primary and at times a secondary closure seals for applications from container doors, to air cargo and pallets and on boxes and other cargo enclosures. Attempts at removal leave residue mechanically on the surface thereby making visual recognition of penetration easily spotted. The tape is also able to be custom printed and has a serial number each 9 inches of the tape which enable you to identify cartons from rolls of self wound tape. It is available in rolls up to 2500’ for machine dispensing. It works by revealing a hidden message of the word opened (in any language required) so that any inspector can see if the tape has been opened during transit. The product is a one time use material that cannot be salvaged or re-used once voided. The devise is sequentially numbered, printed and (in a label format) bar coded as needs or shipping protocols require. In any application the tape, the seal or self adhesive security product provides an indicative closure to items that cannot otherwise be sealed with metal or plastic type seals.

Physical strength is not only the requirement of an effective countermeasure. The ability to circumvent it and otherwise trick it is highly unlikely. Since the tape is made of silicone, cutting and resealing is not possible nor is peeling without a visual record of the attack.

SECURE T.R.A.C ® is available in 1, 1.5 & 2 - mil polyester (PET) and 2.1-mil modified polystyrene (STY) Our STOCK colors of red, and orange with black “SECURE T.R.A.C.®” imprint and consecutive numbering require no minimum quantities. Our available colors are blue, green, brown, or black with minimum quantities of 250 rolls. Custom colors will require a $350.00 blending charge with minimum runs of 560 rolls. Imprinting with company name, logo or visible message requires a custom printing plate at a one-time plate charge of $350.00.
